Nevertheless, it is also a walking distance to the beach.  Nearest metro station is Encants (purple line) – only 2 minutes walk from the apartment.  However, Sagrada Familia metro station is also close about 5 minutes walking.  Shuttle bus of Barcelona city airport (Aerobus) stops at plaça Catalunya. You can use metro from there.
